Sunday School Update
Sunday School has resumed. Every Sunday, between 9:30 and 10:30 am, all elementary aged children will meet in our parlor for music, Bible lessons, games and fun. Pastor Alice Ann will also be teaching a Confirmation Class during this time.
- We need to assemble a TEAM to deliver a comprehensive curriculum to our children. With enough help, each of us would only need to teach about once every month or so, pre-scheduled. The Cokesbury curriculum, provided ahead of time, will detail the Bible lesson, crafts and relevant activities. Please prayerfully consider joining our team of teachers. Vacation Bible School
We organized an implemented an original VBS program this summer, based on Bible stories as interpreted by Veggie Tales cartoons. We enjoyed watching Dave and the Giant Pickle, a David and Goliath story. Dan Taylor re-read the story from the Bible and led a discussion. Wendy Lagoudakis led some fun games about “slaying Goliath” and then we finished with refreshments and conversation. In light of very low attendance, we only conducted one session this year.
